The Rev. Jerry Domenick Adinolfi, Jr., was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 25, 1941 to Jerry and Rose (Pizzo) Adinolfi (both deceased). His only (younger) brother, John who died on Christmas Eve 2000 at the age of 57, was a retired U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel. Jerry attended public grade school (PS 77) in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Greenville Central High School in upstate New York in 1959. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Basic Science. Marsha and Jerry were married in Marsha's girlhood home of Manhattan, Kansas at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on June 8, 1963 by the Rev. Earl O. Minturn. They have two grown children. Mark lives in Overland Park, Kansas with his two children, Domenick (17) and Sofia (13). Christina lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with her husband, Brian, and two of her three children: Andrew (22) and Tony (11). Kristin (25) lives in Topeka, KS with her husband Kurt and their newborn son, Joseph.  Jerry spent 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1993 in the grade of Full Colonel. He served as a Photo/Radar Intelligence Officer, Aerospace Engineer, Operations Research Systems Analyst, ICBM Combat Crewman, Chief of Standardization and Evaluation of a Strategic Missile Wing, Division Chief for Measurement and Signature Intelligence, and Director of Foreign Technology and Threat. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service,  Commendation, and Combat Crew medals. Jerry earned a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in 1969 and completed the graduate course work at George Washington University to become a secondary school math teacher in 1991. Following retirement, he attended both the United Theological Seminary (UTS) in Dayton, Ohio and the Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) in Alexandria, Virginia, graduating in May 1996 with a Master of Divinity degree from UTS. Following Seminary, he served as Curate at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Westerville, Ohio for 1  1/2 years (Diocese of Southern Ohio) before becoming Rector of St. Paul's, Coffeyville, Kansas in January 1998 (Diocese of Kansas). He has served as president of the Coffeyville Ministerial Alliance and chairman of its Advocacy Committee. He served as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Genesis, Inc. of Coffeyville (an ecumenical outreach program for the needy) and was the Chaplain for the Coffeyville Ministerial Alliance. He was an at-large member of the Diocese of Kansas' Council of Trustees, was a member of the Diocesan Constitution and Canons Committee, served as Dean of the Southeast Convocation, and was a Clergy Deputy at the 2009 General Convention of the Episcopal Church in Anaheim, CA. He is a Chaplain in the healing ministry of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL), has served on Cursillo and Happening teams and is a Rotarian. His ministerial interests include Evangelism, Christian education, and pastoral care. Jerry likes to read, especially the Bible and theological books, surf the net, jog and work with people. His beloved wife of almost 47 years, Marsha, passed away on January 8, 2010 in Coffeyville. He retired from the priesthood on 1/1/2012 and moved to the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park. Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Isabella Marjorie Rennick, on August 25, 2012 in Westerlo, New York. Isabella lost her husband of 47 years, Gordon, on December 19, 2011. Bella has four children, fifteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Jerry and Bella reside at 131 Country Estates Road, Greenville, NY, 12083. Friends and visitors are most welcome!
