USAFA Class Heritage

FREDERICK C. BAUER, Colonel, USAF (Ret) ACTIVE SERVICE: 26June1959 - 31March1992 (33 years) "GuDay Mates"  I was introduced to the concept of the UCH (USAFA CLASS HISTORIES) during the year 2013 leading up to our 50th Reunion (Oct2013). I made the 2 videos (as requested), but I did not understand what for, exactly. After the 50th Reunion, I understood so much better, and I was proud of my 1963 Classmates for what they conceived and created. Now I am convinced that what our UCH Team created is bursting at the seams with POTENTIAL. This UCH could be a "Jewel in the Crown" of our AFA Education and Historical Research - IF used properly. The end value of the UCH will depend in a large measure on the Sum Total of each individual Graduate's participation. So, it was time for me to write my Biography. Instead of the traditional approach to Biography, I took a "non-traditional approach." Instead of a LIST of facts and numbers, I created my Biography more as an ADVENTURE TRAIL, with VIGNETTES and VALUES along the way, with road signs and pickings that might be useful to those who follow.
