Biography as of Jul 04, 2012
Following retirement in 1984 as Commander of the Human Resources Laboratory at Brooks AFB,  I settled in  Houston, Texas where I worked as an engineer and manager supporting NASA's human spaceflight program.  I was present for the first launch of Space Shuttle Columbia and the last mission in 2011. I also supported design, development, and operation of the International Space Station, and do so to this day. I held a number of management positions ending my full time career as President of a medium size aerospace firm. I choose to stay actively engaged supporting human space flight as a consultant to large and small firms on growth and transformation. I formed my own company, A2B Solutions, and am actively pursuing business opportunities. I married the young nurse mentioned in our yearbook, we have three children. One is an accountant, one a mother of four, and a son who is a physician in Houston. I remain an active golfer, gardener, and student of ancient history;  the latter despite a "D" in history at USAFA.
