The Cadet Wing expanded from 12 to 24 squadrons during our class years. I stayed with the same guys (some peeled off to form new squadrons) and we founded the first 13th, 17th, and 22nd Squadrons. Now I brag about graduating in the top two-thirds of my class because the bottom third didn't make it. After graduation, pilot training was at Webb AFB. Was high enough in my class that I got the assignment of my choice, T-38 IP initially at Williams AFB, then at Sheppard AFB with the German Pilot Training Wing. Was awarded Aeronatuical Rating in the German Luftwaffe. Got Commercial pilot license, and Certified Flight Instructor rating.
Resigned in 1969 and completed two graduate degrees that together map to an MBA (University of Oklahoma and Thunderbird Graduate School).
