The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Col. (Ret.) Barry A. Walrath, CS-06, Class of 1963. Col. Walrath passed away on July 24, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 25, 2026, at the USAFA Cemetery, 3026 Parade Loop, USAF Academy, Colorado. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 p.m. at Doolies located in Hotel Polaris, 8989 North Gate Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado.
His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Fisher House Foundation.
